Lightweight front seats

If you want lightweight front seats and are prepared to something a little different, take a look at my custom front seats in Interior Modifications

Weight savings were as follows:

Front seats alone (without tracks): 24lb
Manual driver's side seat track: 6lb
Custom rear seat delete: 30lb
Total: 60lb

Shizzam! that's some good looking seats. Maybe my back wouldn't sweat as bad on them?

I live in a very hot climate (it's 120*F these days) and after driving to Dubai and back yesterday, I can safely say I love my new seats. No more sweaty back/arse/legs, more lateral support when cornering hard, and these seats are very comfortable on long drives.
