well got the motor today, now i can move forward with the rebuild, quick question will the my stock valve cover fit with the roller rockers cuz it kinda looks like they will be hitting the cover?

I don't have any clearance problems with my stock valve covers and Crane 1.7 RR's.

Pedastal mount should fit fine. I think its the stud mounted roller rockers that interfere with the baffle.

ok finally got the motor in!
, but i can't seem to get the timing just right i think im not stabing the dizzy correct, tell me what im doing wrong. i put the motor on the #1 cyl. compression sroke, the i start to put the dizzy in at around 11ish so it can turn and the rotor be pointing at 12 when its all the way down. then i tighten the dizzy hold down and it looks like the rotor is right above #1 terminal.
