Stock. The block is weaker than the crank, rods and pistons. I'm suspecting you aren't running much boost anyway, otherwise you wouldn't be using the stock block. You better get that tune in check though or you will melt your engine down, no matter what pistons you are using. You shouldn't be blowing head gaskets. Something is wrong.

probe, manley, srp, ross, weisco, there are tons of good pistons out there.. but you should think about a block upgrade if you wanna get into the 500+ hp range..

Keep the stock pistons and rods. There is no reason for you to upgrade them. The stock pistons and rods will outlast the stock block. If you decide to turn the boost up down the road then it will be time for an aftermarket block and a good rotating assembly. Until then, keep what you have and get your tune in check. Blowing head gaskets is a sure sign that something is wrong so you should address that issue soon.

The stock rotating assembly is fine up to 6500rpm so you can keep that. The block is also good up to about 480-500rwhp and you definitely won't have more than that with your set-up.
You could be blowing head gaskets either because the block deck/head surfaces are not perfectly flat or because the engine's detonating (too lean or too much timing).

i believe the problem with the head gaskets were that i running lean because until recently i had the stock pump, injectors, and mass air meter(i know) but i just had to have that turbo kit installed, itwas only til after i put my 42lb injectors in and a bigger pump and mass air. the day i installed those items not even an hour later i get on it and it comes alive and when i hit third my radiator pops meaning all that pressure busted the head gasket and pressuized the radiator till it popped, thought i slung a rod at first then was able to smell radiator fluid thankfully.but thanx for the info and yes i am very new to the whole boost thing and somewhat new to engine building this is my first time ever replacing head gaskets. don't laugh too much
