95 GT turning off while driving

My GT turns off every now and then feels like its because of the transmission, is it possible?

I'll be driving and all of a sudden the my rpm's will drop all the way and turn off or sometimes they will jump back up.

Please help........

did you check out the distributor and cap cuz i had a probe that did the same thing and thats what it was, and it could possible be an alternator but i would lean more toward distributor.

Check your battery terminals too, I've had that problem, is your battery tied down?

with the distributor cap, just take the cap off and look for corrosion on the inside. Mine had visible built up corrosion. or you can always do what i do when i dont know whats wrong, take it to a local shop, have them diagnose it, and fix it yourself. usually they charge around 100 dollars depending on what they find

My 94 Cobra was doing the same thing for awhile. Come to find out it was a wire loose going to my MSD supercoil which I had replace months prior. Check for loose connections on your coil. Easy to do, right on top of the motor just wiggle the wires a bit.
