s197 seats in 95?


i kno this has been asked b4.. ive searched and searched and came up with nothing... so has anyone ever put s197 seats in their sn95? my buddy wants to give me his black leather seats from his 05 but i dont kno how they would look... i kno ill have to modify some things to make them fit but thats fine.. i just wana kno how they will look.. pics would b great if anyone has some.. whats ur opinion on this? thanks...

guess no one has done it, try it and find out, its only a seat, there isnt that much that cant work, as long they are the same width there isnt a bracket you cant make/buy to make it work

+1... i don't know this for a fact, but just from the looking casually, the s197 seats look wider than the sn95 seats. this would make for an issue and they probably wouldn't work. you need to measure your buddy's seat, both the actual seat and the track, and then make the same measurements on yours. if they are similar in size, then you can definitely make them work.

If that doesn't work, you could get a pair of 2001 Jeep Cherokee seats as I did, modify the seat bases, and have them retrimmed. They're the same width and height as the stock seats but each Cherokee seat is 12lb lighter so there's a useful 24lb weight saving. The side bolsters are much beefier so they hug you in the seat. Here's a pic of mine.
