i believe its right above the #6 cylinder or thereabouts... on the drivers side near the brake booster.

I've already removed a load of crap from my engine bay (22lb weight saving) but nearly all of it was on the passenger side or underneath where it's hard to see from that photo:

Smog pump & all associated pipes/valves
Smog pump mounting bracket (cut from alternator mounting bracket)
EGR valve & pipe
Heater tube assembly & hoses
Strut tower brace

This is some of the stuff I've removed:

He he, if only it would stay clean for a few days. With all the dust carried around by the hot desert winds over here, you can wash the engine bay one day and it'll have a blanket of dust the next. : The same goes with washing the car on the outside.
Rather than wash the engine bay and risk getting water on the electrics, I prefer to just use compressed air to blow away the thick dust.

I thought the same thing. I retried it and waited a while, shaking the can and turning it at different angles every couple minutes and it went in. Took about 10-15 minutes per can.

You'll be amazed at how much extra space you'll have on the passenger side. Plug changes will be a cakewalk instead of a 2-hour ordeal, and removing the steel heater tube assembly makes it so much easier to pull the passenger side valve cover.

Waste space that could be used for a centrifugal supercharger instead.
