SVO intake

I have an SVO intake on my 95 gt. Is that stock, if not, how much better is it compared to stock?

its not stock for the gt's.

its just a cobra/gt40 intake, it just breaths better than the stock one, but you wont notice it much with the restrictive E7 heads

LOL, thanks from the newbie. The heads were suppossed to have been ported, but I dont know if they were or not. One day I am going to pull the engine just to redo a couple things. So far, all the mods the previous owner listed has in fact been done.

303 cam, msd ignition, shorty headers, h pipe, no cats, flowmasters, svo intake, larger injectors, underdrive pullies, 4:11 gears, centerforce clutch, pro 5.0 shifter, larger maf, cold air intake, ported polished heads, larger throttle body, smog pump unhooked but not removed, and the block is suppossed to be a cobra block, but I couldnt tell you if it is or not.LOL. I have some 99 gt wheels on it, and just put some new tires on it.

the 5.0 blocks are the same as the GT's the diff is the Heads, cam, intake, but all the internals are the same. i think that the cobra's came with a oil cooler from the factory but im not sure.

303 cam doesn't say much. Every Ford 5 liter roller cam is a _303. B303, E303, F303, X303 and Z303.

Do you know all of this to be factual or is this what the previous owner told you? How "large" are the injectors, MAF and throttle body? You don't have 4.11 gears. 4.10 maybe but definitely not 4.11

There is no such thing as a "Cobra 5 liter block". A 5 liter is a 5 liter.

It says SVO right on the top of it and its not a plate bolted on, its engraved into the aluminum.Dont remember if it was f303 or b303. He gave me all the specs on the new parts, but dont have that info on hand, and I also recieved all of the original parts as well. Without opening the engine, all the outer bolt on parts seem to be as the previous owner stated. Believe me, I am not taking the guys word for it, that is why I am here to learn more about these cars and the parts that are on the car. So far, I have been helped alot here and hope to continue to learn about these cars so that mine can be improved on.

I was gonna ask about that, as I had no idea if it was 4.11 or 4.10. They kill the gas mileage, though, and make 1st gear worthless for daily driving.

I take it E7 heads are the standard ones?

take a pic zoomed back a little bit... that looks like a stock manifold with just a new plate put in it that says "SVO", but I'm not really sure because of where that bolt is...

yep that's a stock GT intake manifold. it doesn't look exactly like the 94-95 intakes i've seen aesthetically but the shape gives it right away. i'm pretty sure your lookin at stock stuff there buddy.
