More Potential?

I'm curious what everyone thinks has more potential 94-95 Cobra or 96-98 Cobra. I like both and 96+ models are easier to find than the 5.0 SN95s. I have a 92 LX and have been seriously considering trading or buying a SN95

well...a 5.0 has a ton of potential, but is slower stock than the 96-8 cobras
the aftermarket for the 96-98 cobras is nowhere near the size of the 5.0 sector

i kinda disagree on the after market response. in my opinion the 96-98 aft market parts are a lot easier to find than 94-95 5.0 parts. to me i think there scares in most cases.

well it just depends on what u want to do with the car. stock for stock the 96-96 cobra is making 70 more hp than a 94-95 cobra. as far as the aftermarket is considered they both have the same suspension companies. Then the motor aftermarket the 5.0 has it beat hands down but then again you just have to know where to look i am sure some people in the 4.6 section could help you or the people at mustangforums.com can help you out also

I think that there is more of a market of bolt ons for a 5.0 but, as far as chips and programmers, the 96-98 has it beat.
