How long do you let your car warm up before you drive it?

Cold start driveability problems are often caused by either a faulty ACT (air charge temp.) or ECT (engine coolant temp.) sensor. You can test these sensors by going to:

Ford Fuel Injection » Air Charge Temperature (ACT)
Ford Fuel Injection » Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECT)

clean the maf. On cold starts the car will run off the maf until the o2 sensors get hot and take over. Rule out vacuum leaks too.

You need to let your car warm up for a good solid minute or two before you drive it. Don't just get in and go... These aren't new cars man...
