sometimes i have a hard time finding 4th...but then again in have a 6 speed

didnt mean that in a bad way at all.....sorry guess that kinda came across dickheadish... and 95cobra50 4.10's are lower gears than 2.73's.....the lower the number the higher the gear and the higher the number the lower the gear....

your engine rpms are not close enough to driveshaft rpms for a smooth shift or you have some broken tranny parts. i would guess the rpms are to high for fifth gear to engage at 50 mph though as i do a 1,2,5 shift with rpms around 2,000 going into 5 around 50 smoothly but grind if rpms are around 3,000.

If you don't like to shift, buy an auto. Then you can "cruise" all you want.
