idle surge problem

hey all,
Got in the stang the other day and had an issue with my idle. Upon start up car sounded good, but when I started moving ( car is a manual) it just about stalled out. I continued to drive for a few minutes. At a stop light the idle started dropping down below 500 rpm. Thought it might be a bad o2 sensor, but recently replaced those. Anyone think it could be a bad sparkplug? havent changed them in about a year.

Any ideas on a remedy?
Thanks guys
