aod car with a 5spd

Ok so ive heard that i will need a 5 spd cars computer for my automatic car with a 5 spd? something about the ecu is looking for feed back from the t converter. its 1995 GT WITH NO MODS BESIDES A FIVE SPEED TRANSMISSION. also thanks for all the threads on the icv and egr and tps this is a great site!

what all also will i need to hook up the speedometer cable ? coming out of the 5 spd i see a cut cable and a place for a 2 wire plug. on the back side of the guages i do not see a place for a cable. what can i do to get this to work?
