I have a 94 Cobra if you're needing any advice. I've pretty much been through the whole car since I got her last year.

i don't think you can get away with a 347 stroker kit for only 2 grand. Because with a car of our vintage, you will find several more things that need to be replaced or mine as well be replaced when you have it all apart. But i do recommend the stroker. I would like to put a 331 stroker motor in my car once the motor goes, but with 155,000 miles it still runs pretty strong. I ran a 14.07 at 101 yesterday with street tires and without launching the car. That is with a full exhaust, cold air, 70mm throttle body, short throw shifter, 3.55 gears and upper and lower rear control arms. Plus, with the new motor, you might need to beef up the transmission and rear end which can get expensive.

Are we tlking RWHP if so you will be pushing the limits of the stock block. Anyway There are numerous ways to get there. If it were me I would start with a dart block based 331 set up for a blower or turbo. With the right heads and cam your goals will be easily attained and some.
