Help Me With My Sn95 Alternator!!!

Im trying to replace my alternator on my 95 sn95 5.0. Im not much of a mechanic, but i finally figured out how to use the pulley to losen the serp belt, removed it and removed 2 bolts and the wires from the alternator.. i cant get the main bolt on the bottom side of the alternator to budge.. it looks as if on the new alternator there are no threads where the bolt goes into, but on the old one i can see threads sticking out on the back side. ive tried to just manhandle the bolt with wrenches and sockets but it doesnt seem to want to budge, and i dont wanna strip it because i dont know if thats even how it works. or are you suppose to like hammer it out from the backside? I really have no clue and could use some help asap so I dont have to take my baby to the mechanic. id rather do it myself if possible. someone save me!!

Righty Tighty, Lefty loosey! Make sure you are using a six point socket and put a pipe on the end of the ratchet and give it a tug. If it was easy, anybody could do it.

I'm a little confused about what's going on but you did say that the new alt doesn't have the threads like the old one. That could be the reason the bolts not going in. Maybe somethings up with the new alt you got.
