Should fit just fine. When it comes to the tail pipes if your gonna use them I'm not sure but it wont matter cause it needs to be welded in anyways so if there's a problem it can be cut and bent to fit.

Yessir 79-04 are pretty much identical besides the 99-04 cars having different style tail pipe hangers.

The flowtubes fron the mid pipe to the muffler, and the muffler will fit fine. The tailpipes are different.

So If you can get it for chap, or you are transferring to another car, just get new tail pipes.

Not exactly, the tailpipes are bent at a different angle. I tried putting an sn95 cat back on a fox, and the tails came no where close to lining up with the body.

The fox GT exhaust truns down, so its not going to have to run paralell to the rear 1/4 skirts.

Are you sure it wasn't just you?

I put my 97 specific FlowMaster cat-back on my 91 and it fit perfect just as it did on my 97...

Who knows.........

Maybe the aftermarket tails ar bent different.

I just know that the stock 94 flowtubes and mufflers bolted right up and fit in place well. The stock tails did not line up at all.

I had installed a couple after market cat backs before that, so I had somewhat of a clue of what I was doing back then.

Yea Yea. Just giving you a hard time.

Im sure not all pipes are created equal, with as tight as it is it don't have to be to far off for it not to work...

I have 93 Turn down on mine, watch for the spacin, I had to replce one of my tire's when I did my safety, cause the guy installed the tails to close.
The diff between fox and SN95 tails is the hanger is on the oppisite side.
Thats makes up the difference

Don

I was always under the impression that the fox exhaust is narrower than the sn exhaust which is why a common thing to do when going with wider wheels on an sn is put fox tails on. My $0.02

Thanks for all the feed back . The system I was looking at was sold so I am still looking but at least I know what will fit. Any knowledge on long tube setups. Are they also the same. I don't care about the egr I'll be ditching it. I.m going to a carb. I just like the simple old school clean look of a bare engine compartment not to mention trying to stay on a tight budget.
