Auto to Manual Tranny swap?

I am wondering how much work it would be to get this accomplished. I really hope someone has tried it before.

Many have done it but IMO, it isn't worth the expense. The T5 can only handle ~300lbft so that's only a little more than stock; at a stretch, maybe slightly more. If you're going to do a manual tranny swap, get a stronger tranny than the T5. I suggest you stick with the automatic and install a shift kit. Once you get used to it you won't want a manual anymore.

Thanks many for the advise Bullit. I will not get rid of this auto any time soon. Too many other things going on. I was just wondering. But so far so good. Got her up to 80mph today and no issues. OD and shifting was what I consider normal.
Time for a shift kit hi hi.
