Radiator Fan
Well ive had a few issues with coolant over the last summer/fall months, the car would kinda smell like coolant when getting hot, found 1 leak on top of the water pump on that little hose that runs from the thermostat area to the top of the pump and clean the engine bay up and it seemed to fix it, then right at the end of summer the damn thing got real hot just going across town, needle went just about all the way but not in the red, (shut it off in time) changed the theromstat and did it again with the same result, since then it was sitting in the garage, thinking that it might be the electric fan i took it out on 2 rides, the first one i let it warm up for about 5 - 10 minutes before going and put on about 10 miles and it never got hot, it got to the line before the N and when pulling it in the garage i could seem steam coming off the radiator because the fan wasnt running, 2nd one i changed the sensor to the left of the Distributor and then let it idle for about 30 minutes, and took it for a ride, however right before i did the temp was right at N and it wasnt on, i kicked the AC on and it jumped the heat up alittle and the fan kicked on, however when running around town and shit it never got over N and in the summer it normally got over R, however when i was sitting at the gas station i turned the ac on and the needle jumped up to half on the gauge and then back down Got home and it still wanst running
The fan doesnt turn on at all when starting, and it doesnt from what ive seen with the AC on, i was thinking a relay but i think it runs from the sensior to the computer and then to the coolant jug and the fan, i seen that the Constant Control Relay Module might be bad but im not sure if thats worth the gamble on that So if it sounds normal then great otherwise id like to find out wats up with it
