please dont take me as being rude guys. I just have a bad way of explaining things.

I have had enough of the cussing and shitty attitude towards me from the guys at Autocheck... they had their chance to make this right more then once. And failed to do so each time...

I was not going to accept their offer to pay just the repair bill.. then i would be out about $1150.. No way i am taking that hit for their mistake.

also $2000 is alot of dam money when u havent worked in a few months and things arent getting any easier..

SO,I had no choice but to get the loan. Aamco was goin to start charging me storage fee's.. and that was just going to be more BS for me to deal with..

i WANTED MY CAR BACK and this way was the only option. My attorney guarantees me he will get every dime including the interest for the loan..

Yeah this $3000 costing me out of pocket was going to build my 347. so thats where its going when I get it all back.. rather it be a few months or a year. i can be patient.. gather some parts here and there

"you should pay off the loan with that money, not get a built motor."

As far as paying off my loan, this aint my first rodeo guys.. Its me and the wifes #2 priority only 2nd to my sons 3rd B-day April 6th.

I do have a piece of paper from autocheck (remember they gave me a bill) saying they dry started it and felt there wasnt enough time for damage to be done . So put fluid in it and the transmission seemed fine because they could back it out and pull it around front, but they didnt drive it down the road..

The paper from aamco saying it was slipping shows same date and 2.5hours later difference from theirs..

See they messed up and tried to get out of it by not driving it. they knew it wasnt going to last very long.

I am telling you, I have come real close to getting in deep poo for beatin that ass.. these guys have been very rude .. I have never had anyone talk to me that way that I didnt end up in a fight with.. I can handle alot of crap too but i have never been treated so bad by a business..

Im just not going to talk to them again unless they are paying close to 80%($2400) of the total. that will just barely pay off the loan.

I am done with my rant. sorry guys. the situation is pretty touchy.

thats not to bad, but for racing I would like to see ATLEAST 3k rpm stall.

its a good looking car from the pictures I have seen. I dont like SN95's other then the cobras. that bumper, and cowl hood look GREAT on them! I would love to have one, but I spend way to much on my fox as is

this. I would be writing to papers, tv stations, investigative journalists, etc... in your area. At the very least i would be flooding every major local car forum with this story, if you haven't already. negative word of mouth is the only thing that can get rid of sleazy shops like ones in this story.

I took mine in to a local OilGard to get it undercoated in the fall... my ride is lowered and has a Cervini's urethane Cobra R bumper. I asked at the front desk if a car with only 3-4'' clearance and a lip that sticks out would be a problem for their hoists (I couldn't see into the shop), and the guy working the desk said no. A few minutes later a guy from the shop grabs the keys, and about 30 seconds later I hear the worst scraping noise ever. I walk outside, and see my car half pulled into the bay, with the bumper latched onto a ramp hoist!. None of their hoists were of the side style/variety, they only had ramp hoists that most lowered cars would not be able to handle. Nobody was spoting him as he pulled in, and I guess he didn't see my incredibly low front end. The manager (who pulled in my car) had the nerve to say that I should have parked the car with the front facing the shop so he would have seen the low front end, and I just said someone should have been spotting you as you pull in, and his answer was the damage would be paid for. There were 2 quarter sized punctures/splits in the urethane, and the paint was an absolute disaster. 700CDN repair bill. The good thing was the paint was already in bad shape and I was planning on repainting this spring anyways!

But yea, bottom line, don't take any shit from any shop. I get really annoyed to the point of getting pissed off when I hear this kind of crap, and shops only willing to foot part of the bill.
