Squeeeeeaak!

1995 GT lowered.

Have this annoying squeak reoccurring every time I make a left or right turn; go down a bumpy road or hit my breaks hard.

Was thinking it needs to be greased but I don't know.

I'm going to get under the hood tomorrow to check some stuff and then see what's going on while I have good light and nice weather.

What does this sound like, anyone?

I was thinking the same.

Looked under the stang and didn't find any nipples (or whatever you call them) to grease up. What's next?

Not used to working on cars so work with me please.

As far as I know, you can't grease the ball joints as there are no grease zerks. If it is making noise, it is most likely bad and needs replacing. But if you'd like to quiet it down for the time being, you can pierce the rubber boot with a needle on the end of your grease gun.
Just be careful, I had a ball joint separate on my T-Bird a few years back after greasing it when it was noisy. It made it quiet, but it isn't a fix.

No not the brakes.

I read somewhere from someone to go and push on the body and see if it does the noise and sure enough my left front would squeak whenever I pushed down on it. Also still doing it on the turn of the wheel.

definitely sounds like a ball joint to me.

I just had to replace mine, and surprisingly, they were easier than I thought.

did you use isolators when lowering it? they are designed to stop it from screeching.

Mine was the ball joint but it was only turning one way and bumps. I found out the hard way. I had just seen a early movie and going to go to work right after the movie. I saw the movie and got back in my car. started her up got out of my stall and then BAM!! Ball joint popped out. 50 dollars towing and 30 for both ball joints.

Is it more of a creak? Mine is doing that right now because the bushing on the steering arm pries against the round cylinder inside of it.

My brother said it seems to be the bushings on the swing arm.

What it does it whenever you push down on the passenger fender (right on top of the wheel) it'll squeak and creek. Then then you pull it up it does the same.

Yesterday it was sunny and nice out and we sprayed some lub on there and it started to stop doing it, now its cold, cloudy and windy and its back.

I know weather messes with things but its annoying the hell out of me.

Looking at some other part right now, trying to decide whether I need to get ball joints or bushings. If they aren't too expensive just both of them ha.

It definitely is your Ball Joints.

Now that i remember My car did that noise when you pushed it down and up on the Pass. side and thats the side that popped out on me. If i was you Get it fixed soon cause its really close to popping out. If you dont want to be left out stranded in the middle of nowhere with no one to call or worst.

I was lucky enough it popped out in a parking lot going 5 mph, i dont want to know what would happen if it popped out at 60 mph.

GET IT FIXED.

Finally got back into town and took it up to this local inspection shop so I could get a better look of underneath (know a guy there) and well the ball joints are shit. Going to the part store tomorrow and getting those knocked out.

Thanks for all the help guys. If this doesn't work I'll let y'all know.

Is there any ball joints out there that can be greased (using a grease gun) under $100 each?

Okay so I finally got it fixed! The auto part store clerks are retarded. They told me the cheap ball joints cannot be greased yet they have nipples on them, ha!

Anyways, after a few hours or swearing and getting frustrated, I got them in. Now the squeak is gone; thanks guys!
