I just had my old S/C car tuned at the dyno, after that the tuner said I could just sell the BTM because it wasn't necessary anymore.

The blow thru meters the air after the turbo and fits perfect with the intercooler pipes. A draw thru is mounted b4 the turbo. google it. i think i found a good web page just about it

Have you gotten it tuned? If so what are you using? I've been checking out quarter horse and binary editor. Anyone used this before?

Finally got my car started after a long 2 1/2yr project, and sounded really good for about 3minutes, then it died! Found 4bent pushrods, summit sent me the wrong timing chain, the cam bolt was rubbing on the timing cover then somehow the bolt backed out and timing gear backed off and bent cam dowel pin. Really sucks, thinking about just finding a 351w.

sorry to hear about the 4 bent pushrods, i've been there, i got a dss block and the builder never put the cam bolt in, in the first place, made it about 2000 miles and it backed off, i didn't know until i pulled the timing cover and pan and still never found a bolt, only sheared pin...... but nonetheless, with your pan in the vert, did you have any clearance issues with the xbrace underneath, i've got a moroso and haven't tried yet because its not easy for me to get a cherry picker.......

thanks in advance and good luck with the car!

I didn't have a problem with the pan, previous owner removed the brace I guess. Well I performed a leakdown test on all 8cylinders and at only 11psi the gauge was maxed out meaning all my valves and seats are good. Going to replace timing chain, pushrods and find a dowel pin for the cam. Then putting it back together. Still going to find a 351w roller motor.

one thing i'd recommend, on top of your leak test, check out your lifters, when mine backed off, i had the little tabs around the roller part of the lifter actually break off

I didn't think of that, thanks I will take the intake off and pull the lifters to inspect them.
