Boosted 5.slower

Just wanted to post my 95 turbo vert project. Car had been sitting for 2yrs, bought it from some guy who riced it out, when it is finished it will look like the sonic blue vert in the pic. It is a stock block, with gasket matched e7heads, TFSvalve springs, 1.6 crane RRs, fcam, ARP studs, gasket matched lower intake, melling HV oil pump, double roller timing chain, and will have canton 7qt oil pan in a day or two. Have a boost brothers turbo kit, already mounted the intercooler and painted the engine bay, 3coats of blacka and 3 coats of clear coat.

Got my oil pan a few days ago, and finally got some more work done, wrapped the headers, split the flanges so they will bolt flat against heads, installed all new gaskets, cleaned and painted parts, new water pump, oil feed fittings, welded turbo drain bung, installed p/p lower intake, test fit turbo, had to cut ear off smog pump bracket.

Dropped the engine back in the car today. Now to start working out some of the problems with the turbo kit.

Here is where the ABS module hits the crossover pipe.

Here is where I have to notch the frame rail for the turbo mount flange to give space for whenever the engine moves

Driver side header hits the sway bar and also hits my 7qt oil pan.

This is where the air filter hits the core support

That vert ain't sonic, it's bright Atlantic blue. And if you want to see how fucking stupid the owner is, search pixer on the corral.

Question

I'm interested in running this kit on my '94 GT convert. I was going to use a Canton #15-644 road racing oil pan with this setup. Does anybody know if I'll have clearance problems with the downpipe or any other unforeseen issues?

Thx,
JT

I have heard good things about boost brothers, looking forward to see how this build turns out. Question::: Why use the e7's and spend that money on them instead of using a better aluminum head like TFlows or something.

I spent a 100 dollars on valve job, spring install and resurfaced. Let me know where I can find some TFS heads for a 100 bucks. A friend of mine at work gasket matched the heads and intake for me that is all i did to them. My oil pan is a canton knock off from Ebay CRS racing. No clearance problems. So far I had to cut up my freshly painted side fender and rail. That sucks. I have to figure out what to do with the ABS module. I have to find out if I ran my IC piping right, don't have enough room for MAF. Can anyone who has installed the kit help out?

Wasn't slamming you for running them, just figured if you had the money to go turbo then heads wasn't a big deal, looks great so far, can't wait to see the finished product and hear how she runs.

Thanks, no offense taken. The original plan was for a 351 swap and some aluminum heads, but all this layoffs, my wife getting laidoff and bs going on changed everything, and also my DD 97 is on it's last leg so I am going to make this one my daily for a while. I am hoping I can get all these problem areas figured out and mid april starting it up for the first time in 1 1/2. The turbo kit is well put together all the welds are good quality had them checked out by our welder at work and he was impressed of the quality and I only paid 1200 plus shipping.
