Just ordered my cams
Custom grind from Flowtech Inductions. Had a friend get one for his 94 and he is now dyno'ing at 337 to wheels. Can't wait to see what mine puts out afterwards. And to quote Ed from FTI,
"BTW... I have something very stout planned for you so be ready..."

Nice, never heard of that company though. What are the specs on the cams, and what mods do you have?

I know a couple of guys that have them and love them. Everything is custom grind for your particular set up. I had to fill out a little questionaire of what i had and planned on doing and Ed then works up something for you.
Check out the site and some of the "street" cars. http://www.flowtechinduction.com/streetpics.htm As far as mods: FRPP 4.10 catted magnaflow x pipe with catback c&l plenum, accufab 75mm TB K&N CAI Steeda UDP's Diablo Predator for tuning. Eibach prokit and steeda short throw. and it's an 04 GT as for the specs on the cam, won't know them until he actually get them ground sends me the paperwork, but i will let you know. |

yeah, i am hoping around there or maybe a little more. this guy is real good for underpromising and overproducing on hp output. but where i am getting it done has a dyno as well and I can get that done for free. and then it is on to the juice. looking at around a 75 shot for it.

Plan on putting some nitrous on her in the summer. This cam is ground with the thought in mind of having nitrous and/or a SC put on it.

yeah they make headers. i have heard nicknames of flowcrap though from the f-body guys so just a heads up. did you get them for a cheap price? i would assume so since you didn't opt to go with Comp or VT.

haha i know what a custom grind was... i just was wondering what you had in mind. Sounds good. I myself havent heard anything about the place so i dont know.

I paid $750 for the cams and he threw in the comp springs. I had to barter with him a little bit.
I have heard nothing but good praises about their cams. A freind of mine here put one in his 95 and the guy promised to have him at the 300 mark and when it was dyno'ed, he was putting down 337 to the wheels. I went with him because he was easy to work with and he makes great cams. As for the headers, i know nothing about them. But at the FFW this past summer, I saw quite the bit of Flowtech Induction Cam stickers on a lot of the top runners. But I will let everyone know how they are after I get everything done. The shop I go to here has a dyno, so I am going to get it done with a before and after specs. |
