351W distributor in sn95 mustang

i have 351w base motor in a 95 mustang.i see alot of post about getting a used dist. from a truck. i bought a new dist. from local parts store for 93-96 f150 with a 5.8l it does have the same plug without module like my 95 has. i did notice the base and cap is smaller and the cap is a screw down style. will this work for me. i cant seem to get specific info about a 351w dist. for a 95 other than ordering one from msd. any info ???/ thanks

The Distributor Will Work Just Fine. Just Make Sure You Have The Right Cam Gear For It (ie. Non-roller Cam Uses A Cast Gear, Roller Cams Use A Steel/bronze Gear)
