2nd gear?
When i got my mustang the ac didnt work. i found out i need a new liquid line, a new ac compressor, and one more thing (I forgot what it was called, but its right next to the passenger door, and it looks like a thermal with three lines coming out of it.)
but anyways, i installed the ac compressor, but im waiting on the liquid line to come in from the shop. but after i installed the new ac compressor, whenever i gave it gas in 2nd gear, it would kick a little and i notice its not going as fast as it used to. I would just delete the whole ac with a ac delete kit, but i live in florida, and its starting to get REALLY hot. Do any of you guys know anything about this? would it stop jerking if i threw in the liquid line and that big thermal thing? |

Someone else may be able to help more but... the drier is what I believe your trying to remember. Now is your motor turning into a gutless cutlass or does it feel like its lost a couple hp? Does this happen whenever your running your AC or at any time now? is your compressor engaging or is it staying free spinning?

i found the problem. i think its my clutch slipping.
well 150,000 miles on the stock clutch is little too much, time for an upgrade. |
