Input on 95 to 2000 Swap
I just wanted to see if I could get some opinions on a swap that I was looking at doing. I am wanting to swap a 5.0 into my 6er because I will be able to do the upgrades and performance work I want to do myself. I have some questions that I was hoping yall would be able to help me with.
1) Will the difference in placement of the from accessories like the AC Compressor and the power steering pump be of much significance when I swap them over? (will I have any problems) 2) I know the transmission uses a mechanical speedo, what is the difference in the transmissions from the two time spans and will I be able to use my current transmission? Or would it be best to swap everything? 3) Anything else that might be of great importance to this swap? (any trouble areas) I have been doing research in this section for a bit and have learn a good deal but im going to keep reading and see what else I can think of. Thanks for the help.
