Question

96 to 5.0 swap in progress...

Heres my car,its a 96 Mustang V6 with only 98,xxx miles!!!

This is one with the engine out..

Heres the donar,its a 95 5.0 with a rebuilt motor useing 91 Pistons (forged) and preety much stock bottom end with better bearings,etc.It has a E303 cam,BBK LT headers,BBK x pipe,Flowmaster exhaust,BBK intake,BBK TB,King cobra clutch,BBK UDP,and i just got today MSD wires,MSD coil,MSD rotor/cap and NGK TR6's for the nitrous..

Now,this is going to be my first motor swap.I know its alot of patience and time but I have ALOT of both.I need to know any advice and what i should do first.Im thinking of ripping out the 3.8 K-member out the blue car first. After that, unbolt the tranny and rip out the 5.0 from the white car and leave all wireing attached. Then put that aside and remove the 5.0 K-member and transfer it into the blue stang.

I will buy new motor mounts and put those on, also Im going to replace the oil pan gasket,Rear main seal and w/e else gaskets including the valve cover gaskets also..Is it ok for me to pressure wash the motor while its outside the car?And when i remove the valve cover/oil pan should i clean the inside and clean out the crank case/clean any engine gunk from the rods/crank shaft?

Any help is appriciated..
