Hydro planned

So I hydrod getting on the freeway. Spun out and went thru a chain link fence. Looks like I hit a pole on the driver side front. Not toooooo bad but bad enough to make me mad. Do you know anywhere to get a fender for cheap?

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

Pretty self explanatory from there. Remember that once you get results, sort the listings by hitting "Distance" because the first page is going to show you the most expensive outrageous amounts. Like 10,000 dollars for a hubcap, 765 dollars for a floor mat. etc etc..

I still have to see if I have any frame damage. It appears that I took out a fence pole. Man wasn't to much I could do. It just started to go around and I counter steered and let off the gas and it just slide right into the fence. I was like O_O. It kinda went like this "Sh*t, sh*t,sh*t, Fu*k". Yeah See I broke that plastic piece that goes above the window.... wonder if I Can find that? Pictures later today.

lol yeah basically. Wasn't even goin fast. Cause the on ramp is kinda sharp so I took the inside and cut the corner straightened out (Or so I thought) and got on it a little bit and then it just slid out came around. Maybe if I'd turned into it I coulda saved it but I might've hit the dude behind me. There doesn't look to be frame damage. There is damage to where the fender bolts up behind the blinker. I just took some pictures gonna throw them up. My neighbor said she'd front me the money to get it fixed and resrpayed (Whole whip) a candy apple red cause she is comin up 500,000 dollas and I always have been cool with her and give her rides and shit when she needs them.

Man... just glad the 5-0 wasn't there. I was able to just drive home. The fuel pump switch didn't even trigger! I was like oh sweet out!!!!!! I think the most expensive part is going to be getting the fender painted. As I don't have a hook on a body man.

So if you live in the bay and work/own a body shop hit me up! I am a broke mexican with a broke mustang.

Well I got my mirror back up. Little bit of NASCAR style speed tape. And I am in it. NASCAR would be proud of my job I did.

This site is awesome! Thanks so much!

May be able to get a fender for like 80 bucks!!! If there is damage to the mounts or whatever the parts are called one shop said they could pull it out or I could just get them from a junk yard.

Here is the damage (Haven't taken the fender off I am scared I won't be able to get it back on right!)

Notice the pole impact. Good news my blinker bulb some how made it thru!

Duct taped the mirror till I can get a new one. Notice the missing plastic piece above the window? I have half of it in the back seat. Other half maybe go see if its stuck in the fence or not!

By nail it do you mean floor it? Because I was far from flooring it. Wrong gear wrong on ramp wrong time of day. (Maybe wrong back tires too). K thanks!

you say you hydro planed, and at the same time you said you got on it a little bit when you were on the on ramp.... explain what "got on it" means to you

Basically I was doing around 25 in 2nd off of the throttle, went thru a tight turn off the throttle touched the throttle and the rear end broke loose and swung around at a high rate of "oh shit". As soon as I touched the throttle it seemed that the rear broke loose. So maybe "getting on it" wasn't the right term? Maybe trying to accelerate to freeway speeds?

Now keep in mind this was a very light shower. I have rode motorcycle's and drove this car in far worse no problem. But put down a little bit of water and oil combined with bad roads and into the fence you go!

So please excuse my lack of better terms. I am not trying to make it look like it wasn't all not my fault. But I'd say maybe wrong gear? Being stupid not so much as maybe lack of experience loosing control in such a manner?
