gear and speed question
ok guys i have a question for all of you with GT 5spds with the stock 3.08 gears. what speed are you at in 4th gear at redline(6k) because i know my 4th gear redlines(6k) at 120 and according to the speed/gear ratio calculator on corral.net my 4th gear should redline at ~148 which i know is way too high and according to the calculator in order for my to be around 120 in 4th gear my car should have 3.73's in it and if this is true that would be awesome that the PO did that already even though i bought new lower gears for it already lol
edit: i forgot to mention i have nitto 555's in 315/35R17 out back which are 25.62in tall Last edited by Mustang Boy; June 2nd, 2010 at 07:51 PM. |
