tune up questions


95 gt i live in chareleston sc and its very hot here all summer what would be the best oil 2 run mobil 1 20w 50 or heavier what brand yall recommend?plugs? and what benifits from new fancy distributer would i get? oh yea whats stock rear ring gear cause i get burnt off the line in 1st what you recommend replaceing them with like 3.73 or 4.10 whats the difference?

Welcome to MM!

10 W 30. your oil temp wont change all that drasticly due to outside air temps. that is the only .02 I am going to give because I don't want to be an initiator of another gear thread. My distributer currently works fine so I have not yet replaced it. When I do, I am probably going to go with a HEI unit.

If you do a tune up,go with MSD cap n rotor,msd wires,msd coil,and Motor craft double platiums..Thats about 200 bucks worth f stuff and itll run fine and unleash some ponys.Also,replace your fuel filter like 10 bucks and i use Mobil 10w 30 FULL Synthetic...

Hahaha,I love picking on them esp when they see that my car use to be a V6 because of the emblems and now its a 306 but they dont know that hahaha...
