What color should I paint my car?

I am thinking candy apple red baby!!!! It's a red stang with the tan and black interior. Let know what you guys think!

i just redid my car. its called impulse red. its made by toyota but has a lot of red and gold pearl in it. flashes out nicely. i like it cause it also reminds me of fords original tri coat color for the 94's. ive always been a fan blue stangs too.

How much are you willing to spend on a repaint. Sticking with the stock color will cut the cost as you wont have to repaint the door jams, trunk or engine bay. All witch will add extra $$$ to the price of prep and paint.

im re-doing mine now i have a freind that works in a gm body shop and hes hooked me up with the copper color off the new z06 vettes. it looks great!!!

I wonder why I am partial to that color....haha

I say you paint it red or you will have to change your screen name...haha seriously its your car you shouldn't be asking other people what color to paint it. It will cost you a lot more money to go with a different color.

yeah... well i am getting fronted the loot to get it sprayed cause my insurance wants to total out the car so i told them to get bent and suck my... exhaust pipe.. I got a quote for 5k for orignal red GT color... Kinda looks like yours MX with the current color. It's like a redish orange color. So we will see if it comes out the same color cause my door jams and engine bay are more red.

yeah mine is really orange, it looks different in different lighting, outside its a wicked orange color and you can really see the shit ton of metallic we put in, and also the sun brings out the pearl. I wanted more pearl but ho well. The original idea for the color came off the flames on my chopper. It's PPG "Orange Glow" layed down on top of PPG "Sterling Silver" but the don't call them by that name or they have discontinued the color, one or the other. So we had to improvise and my buddy pretty much mixed the color on his own, threw in a ton of silver metallic, and a dash of pearl..haha.. I love orange and the next car I paint will be that orange metallic color on the new corvettes, I had a "Sunset Orange" Chevy Duramax 4dr. 4x4 longbed 3/4 ton, and wanted that same color when I bought my dually but was not available. It is close to the color of the new vettes, but I think a silver metallic and the vette looks to have a gold metallic, but not sure. Anyways good luck and hope it turns out great for you. I only paid $1,600.00 for paint and materials on mine and my buddy sprayed it for free so he could use it for his ad for his shop. Normal price would have still only been about 4 grand and that includes the engine bay, pulling the doors, trunk dash, everything. You could never tell what color it was before.....VIVA MEXICO...haha

haha yeah... i just have to replace some parts cause my car and i had a miscommunication and we hit some stuff. All easliy replaced. But dude said 3k out the door for everything not bad. I am looking into smoked head lights also. I am just going to get it resprayed factory color that came on the car and see how that comes out.
