upper/lower control arm question

i am replacing both my upper and lower control arms. i have the uppers done and am going to do the lowers tomorrow. i am using j&m control arms i got off americanmuscle. my question is, after i have both of these on, i am fine to take off the quad shocks right? i want to run 315 tires on 10.5x17 wheels and the quads rubbed. also is the stock sway bar fine or does anyone think i should upgrade it? will it make much of a difference if i dont. anyone who has done this how did it work out? thanks to all who reply

Yes you can off the quads. Are you replacing the bushings in the axle housing as well if not you should. The stock sway bar is garbage I have snapped more of them than I have fingers to count on lol.

I pulled my quads after installing MM LCAs. Ride quality improved significantly, however in freeing up some of the bind, there was more rear roll and it felt like it slightly increased the side-to-side slop that the stock 4-link is known for. (Remedied later with stiffer springs and a panhard bar).

I have MM lowers, Edelbrock uppers (both sets have spherical bearings at one end to reduce suspension bind) and my quad shocks are in the spare parts bin.
