Quarter Panel Replacement
I've dug, and dug and still couldn't find a decent write up on how to take off and replace a rear quarter panel. I'm currently in the process of doing mine and documenting everything; so stay tuned for a nice how-to.

lol well its not the best do it yourself at home job. trust me. its meant to be done on a frame machine for starters just so you can align things without ANY kind of sway or movement in the rest of the vehicle. if your replacing a quarter, theres a good chance the frame could be off. not by much but in some spot or another its probably off by a little.
But if ur gunna go for it, make sure you cut it far enough out, just so you can cut back if needed, also cause ur gunna wanna save part of the extra quarter to make sleeves to put in where the quarter connects on the pillar and on the rocker. to get the welds apart get a sqrewdriver made for removing welds, it has a backing so it goes straight and itll tighten against it. it helps alot. then use a seam buster and a hammer and go through the welds. once ur confident its all matched up, match the door, deck lid, bumper, tail lights, anything that touches or will show its alignment, line it up with. otherwise itll look pretty shitty when ur done cause ull notice it pretty obviously. when u weld it make plug welds cause i highly doubt u have a prospot welder laying around ur garage. then its a walk from there. just do the body work and paint. good luck with it, if you have any questions pm me and ill try to help ya out. its a tough job though unless u have the equipment and patients.
