fog lights

I know this is prolly for the electrical forum but i wanted to make sure it was our body style i got the answer for (if it matters)

I want to make my fogs independent of my headlights... im sure theres a post or a link somewhere do any of you guys know where it is?

what do you mean independent of your headlights? Like different circuit or what? Cause your fogs have there own switch but your lights have to be on for your fogs to turn on.

I mean i want to be able to flip the fog light switch and they come on, regardless of the headlights, i would be fine with them working on the parking lights because thats when i would use them most often

well your set then... you should have a switch on the center console behind your ash tray for the fog lights... turn ur parking lights on (One click on the knob back towards you) and flip the switch and you has fog lights!

nope... thats what i want... they only come on with the headlights though

I got ya man, did the same to mine. You want to be able to turn your fog lights off or on regardless of if your headlights are on or off. Ford set them up in a way that if you have your high beams on your fog's turn off. You can only use them when your headlights are on and low beam. Here's the write up I used.

awesome...im about to do this too. this will be much easier than the way i was thinking..

95 GT- AFR 185's, Comp CAM, Trick FLow TH upper and lower, 30lb injec, 76MM C&L kit, Full MSD, BBK Pulleys, 3:73, BBK Long Tubes, X Pipe, Magnaflow Cat back, Cobra front control arms, MM CC plates LCA's and Panhard bar, tuned by Adam @ Pops Racing.

thanks man, now i have another excuse to sit in the garage and drink beer haha

while were on the fog light subject, i have a bulb burnt out and im going to replace them... what color or style should i get, does anyone have any suggestions that they have used and look cool, should i match my headlights or get yellow or just put stockers in? whats rice and whats not
