Thanks. What size of bullit rim (with non lo profile tires) would I need to have the overall same height of wheels, tire and rim together (remember mine are lo profiles) and not have to recalibrate the spedometer?

stock gts came w/ 16s as an option you could have them equiped w/ 17s.
You can go w/ 17x9s 275 in the rear and 255 up front, or run 18x10 w/ 295s in rear and 18x9 w/ 265s upfront.

i knew the rim size.. i wanted to know the tire size since he said it was on low profiles.
i know they tires from the factory arent low pro's. and this guy doesn't want his speedo thrown off and wants a mid profile tire. so basically you go from a 16 to a 17.. thats an inch more of rim. now you need to figure out the difference between the the low pro vs. med pro. tires ie: 225/35/16 +1 inch 245/45/17 so it's a 10mm difference in tire height but an inch different in rim size.. so you minus that inch of rim from 10mm and you have the difference basically. i would have to say that if you went with a 245/45/17 you should be fine.

Dude, just get 17's x 9's, with 245/45/17's upfront and 275/40/17's on rear. I got a 94 GT, thats what I"m running, with NO problems. NONE, NADA, NOTHING, i think you get the point.

The 245/45/17 will work but look outa place better yet 255/40s and 275/45 in the rear.
For 18s 295/35/18 in the rear and 265/35/18 up front. These combos will keep you close to stock ride hight and barely affect your speedo. Im running 18x10 rear 18x9 frnt with the above mentioned tire combo. No problems.

Ok, but on a stock GT like mine are the tire sizes the same on the front and back or are they different like your guyses tires or wait did you mean different rims. But like I said earlier dont want lo pros, mid pros are what I want.

The bigger the wheel the lower profile you will need to run to keep stock height.

Lets say I went with 15'' rims all around what size tire should I go with. I will go with the same size all around for both rim and tire Wait unless that will thro off the spedom.
And thank you guys for sticking it out and explaining this shit to me I know Im being difficult (not on purpose) but each time I understand a little better.

Yeah if I do change I'll go with 16's and medium profiles all the same size all the way around and just have a professional mechanic at a local ford dealership recalibrate it accordingly. Thanks for the help guys.
