needing a tune up
my car is a 94 gt and has about 118,000 miles on it. completely stock besides cai and 4.10 gears. i just replaced the alternator and it looks like the owners before me put in new plugs. She starts kinda rough though and im sure is in need of a good tune up. i just put in some seafoam in the gas and also replaced my fuel filter because it was lookin pretty dirty. i figured while im at it i should do a full tune up to free up some power and just keep it running good. i will be starting mods soon, (h/c/i) so i wanna know what am i really looking for in this tune up? plug wires, cap, what else?
one other question is when i go to start it, it never wants to turn over right away like its not getting fuel. but if i turn the key to "on" then off, to on, off, and on again (to get the fuel pump to build pressure) then start it, it starts right away. would this be a sign of a bad fuel pump or anything else? thanks, Elliott

Does it run ok when its warm? You could look at O2 sensors. Or, temperature sensor.

its been 3 days since the filter and it still does it. the car runs fine after its started. one reason i figured a tune up couldnt hurt either. i wouldnt know about the 02 sensor but if it was wouldnt that make the check engine light go on? it did on my honda atleast. it runs and starts no different if its warm or cold.

forgot to mention. the car was wrecked when i bought it and so it sat for some time, then i got it done right before winter so it sat a few more months. total of like 12-18 months with very little off and on driving until the past 2 months is when ive had it out. i put about 2000 miles on it so far. i did have stabalizer in the gas during the time i had it over winter and in the shop.

i suggest doing the wires and clean the cap. you can test fuel pressure and see if its getting enough.
