MyExhaust is Glowing orange, etc.
Help! I am not retarded but I am relatively new to mustangs. I just up graded from a 2000 acura integra to a 1994 Cobra but it is beat up. When I got it, it did not even run. I have done a new clutch, spark plug wires, new starter, and almost rebuilt the entire colum... the car was stolen... bastards. anyways thats why I bought it for 3 G's.
Now, my only problem is that the car will not idle below 1,800rpm and the passenger side exhaust is glowing orange from the fist cat to the seond but only on the one side. B.T.W. this is a california edition and they came with two O2Cats and then the standard two down further just before the h-pipe cross bar. This car has to be the most complcated freaking car Ford has ever made! Anyways, Clogged Cat? Bad O2 sensor? any suggestions? The cobra that year had a 5.0 fyi |

yup, sounds like the cats are plugged up for sure.. if you still live in CA you will need to put new cats back on as well.. i would say get some high flow cats for the replacements & you will be golden.. good luck bro & welcome to the forums!

The Peoples Republic of Kalifornia. Great place to visit but I would never live there. I like running long tubes and o/r x without having to worry about emissions checks.
