Quick Question!

my friends looking at trading his shitty 2003 lancer oz rally (non turbo) for this car, we checked it out it looks pretty cool, just has a smaller battery because he got the battery for free, brand new tires all around. does this seem like a legit car? btw it has Nissan GTR emblems (REMOVING ASAP!) (helping the community) lol.

doesnt sound too bad. if u said it looks good and ran good then id go for it. just needs the interior redone it appears. have fun with the airbags... thats the biggest downfall if u ask me.

yea i know airbags are a bitch, but it drives great and everything. yea have to fix passenger dash and steering wheel, we will probably just put a upgraded steering wheel on it

if the airbags deployed it doesnt have a salvage title? i would say offer him 4000... 5 seems steep for a wrecked (previously) car

no its a clean title (they didnt report it and salvage it out) and we arent buying it we are trading a car with a kbb of about 4k

even though its a clean title doesn mean it SHOULD be a salvage title. agree with offer him 4. airbags can be very pricey if u dont put them in urself. looks like ur better off getting a whole new dash for it.

You can find airbags for cheap or free, no problem. I gave my pass side one away and I still have my steering wheel one on there only disconnected. Also that pass side cover for the air bag is nothing but a cover with velcrow from the factory that holds it on. It is attached to the airbag box in the center but all I did was use a small knife and cut it off and remove the box and put back the cover in it's original place. 5 grand seems a bit high for this car.

he just got the car! traded his beat up lancer for it, 5k was high but his lancer wasnt worth that much

I was gonna say 5k sounded a bit high for somethin like that, but if he traded the lancer for it straight up....sounds like a good deal.

i agree.... mustangs are much better then lancers!!

yea i know! i need to get him on this website lol, he wants 4:10 gears, shorty shifter, tint, and a few other little things first before we dig in deeper. right now it still has GTR emblems lol
