Im want to lower my 94 mustang GT. How much should i lower it and whats the biggest tire/rim size i can fit under the fenders? If i lower it at what point will i have to worry about tire rub?

I have 1.5" Eibach lowering springs on mine and I also have 315/35/17s in the back and I have no problems with rubbing except on fast corners. Unless you are just going to drive on nothing but smooth and flat paved roads I wouldnt drop it any more than that. Pulling into a driveway to a business, I sometimes scrape the exhaust.

Euroeater95, what do you think about a 1" drop. Because I live in NY and POT hole is all the way up to my driveway... So I dont want to go too low.

Yeah sure, I was just saying that I wouldnt go any lower than 1.5". You are going to love the way it looks with 315s stuffed up into the fenderwells, if thats the size that you want.

I did the H&R supersports. ANd its pretty low. Id say, if your worried about too low, go with steeda. THey will drop 1in 1.25 if you keep the isolators out. But, like i said, if your worried about going to low, then you shouldnt lower your car much. and Steeda ball joints drop your car .25in.

any idea's???

Hello all, this is my first post and I'm really glad to have this forum. My question is if I lower my 94' GT 1.6" front and 1.5" rear with H&R springs will I still be able to fit 315/35 17's on the rear of my Stang without having to do any wheelwell/fender lip mods? I have been planning to use 17x8 wheels in front and 17x10.5 on the rear, if the 315's won't work on the rear just how wide can I go? I've tried a number of the big wheel and tire houses but can't get a straight answer, this began my search which led me to this forum. Thanks for any and all input, later....
