twin turbo kit

i just purchase a twin turbo kit for my 94 5.0
i got the intercooler, seals, gaskets, headers, and the turbos. t3/t4
i am making the piping for it.
i am getting the neccesary items to run it and control it (mas air, throtle body, regulators, etc.) but its still going on a stock 5.0 for the most part. so mostly cam and heads
i do plan on upgrading the heads soon. any suggestion on to what will help this turbo out the best? i figured gt40x heads wouldnt be bad for this, does any1 have any suggestions to add to just give me ideas. this is more of a project to see how it comes out. ive never heard much about sn95 twin turbos so i thought it would be cool to build on.

I assume you are talking about the Ebay twin turbo kit?

If so, bolt the manifolds on and mount the turbo's. Then try to hut your hood.

Oh and, make sure you do this before buying anything else.

most turbo kits built for the SN-95 are actually just re-tagged foxbody systems. Many people have reported severe hood clearance issues (you cowl wouldnt help) and others have had problems with the turbo's sitting where the P/S and Alt are.

SO im just suggesting that you double check those issues BEFORE you get too involved in buying more parts

i was going to run it down, probably right behind or by the bumper bracket. im making all the piping for it so ill make sure i can secure the turbos in spot where i where have plenty of clearence. thanks for the heads up though. im even moving the battery in the trunk to try to clear some of the room too.

Turbos bolt directly to the manifolds/headers - are you fabricating those, or are you referring to the intake side fabrication?

I'd like to see pics of the hardware - a twin turbo setup sounds good!

he can run his exhaust to wherever he wants to mount the turbos they dont have to bolt directly to the header

i figured in the end it might be easier and better spots to mount the turbos and fabricate to them. otherwise yes i could see many clearence and space issues by just mounting them.

i still need to start clearing things out so i can start the fabricating, i just need to find time when im not driving it so often, so probably not for a month or so cause its too nice right now not taking my car out. i wouldnt want to rush something like this. better take my time and do it right first time around.
