input on this gt


1994 Mustang GT Cobra Clone

ok so i was looking to get a 4v sn95 cobra but the prices of the ones around here are a little on the high side now my cousin has 2 5.0 cobras and after talking to him and seeing how easy it is to work on and the fact that i still get the body style i like i think a 94-95 would be great for me just have a few questions..

power wise how would this compare to my car now just a basic bolt on cast iron headed lt1 camaro?

im just looking for something nice and a litle bit more reliable to upgrade to bc i keep pouring money into my z28 and i need to stop now before i pour way more into it since its my first car.

but i really just want a car thatll be fun to drive and have less weak points and be able to hang with/beat most of the stuff around here.

any input would be nice like hp numbers i could see with this and mabye track times i dont really care about those i just want a more reliable just as fun car as i have now.

What year camaro?

I would say your looking at around a 300-320 hp...do you know if this thing ever had a super charger on it? the 42lb injectors and fuel management is a little excessive for these mods..my guess is it had a power adder of some sort, or was being built for having one some day.

Price isnt bad in my opinion..ive seen several not in that condition go for 4,000...paint and interior look pretty good from the pics..obviously, offer him 3,800 cash and work your way up.
