Only happens when my car is running hot. I stopped at the house and was in there for about 10 minutes and then took off again and the temp. was running high. I got down the street and was waiting at the stop sign and then my idle starting acting up.

It idles at about 1000 on normal; that day it was going from 1000 to 500 back and forth about four times and then died. I was able to start it right back up and then it started doing it again and then again died.

One of the guys at the part store said to check the IAC and clean it with carb cleaner; I want a few more views.

I just fixed the same idling issue this morning. check for any vaccum leaks first, but I took out my IAC and sprayed it down with carb cleaner, then put new rotor cap and cleaned air filter and it idles great now, right around 800. As for the temp, your car was sitting there idling in your driveway for 10 min. only air that was hitting your radiator was from your fans. if it hasnt gotten hot since then that was your issue car just didnt have enough flowing air sitting there and on top idk where you live but it was 100 degrees here in MD today.
