there is a black hard vac tube that comes through the firewall near the AC ports that pass through. (rear left side)

Follow it over to the vac tree at the right rear of the engine bay. Find where its broken.

use rubber vac line and slide both sides of the broken line into it.

im thinking about just running a whole new vaccume line. just because i dont want to keep messing with it if it wants to break again.

Do you know what size line id need?

just do what I said, and leave it be. I had the same problem (hence knowing where it was broken) and repaired mine the way I told you. That was 5 years ago.
