Need help with ignition troubles

Hey guys, I've got a 94 gt, with Twisted Wedge heads, trackheat intake, mild cam, prom maf. Here lately my car has been a bit irritable. At wot around 3700-4000 and up the car will start to break up, and has popped through the exhaust. It's like hitting a wall at that rpms. I have pulled codes, run cylinger balance test, and checked tps. Other than that what should I check and what could the culprit possibly be?

Check the dizzy cap, rotor, plug wires and plugs. Replace any components that look worn. Make sure plug wires aren't touching the headers or arcing.

Plugs are a few months old and look great, cap and rotor have a bit of terminal corrosion but nothing abnormal, im thinking its close to time for plug wires.

I had a similar problem to this caused by over oiling my k&n filter which gunked up the maf. I would pull the maf and blow some carb cleaner over the 2 wires.
