I will never put another thing in my car that has the letters MSD=my spark died. Do you have the stock one still, try that?

I know MSD dizzy's have a tendency to die prematurely but a brand new dud would be a bit much considering how expensive they are. Check the timing and make sure it's set properly. Also make sure the wire from coil to dizzy is properly connected at both ends.

I bought a brand new msd coil in an attempt to figure out why my car wasn't starting. After a new coil, motorcraft dizzy, cap and rotor and like new wires nothing. I ended up putting the old stock motorcraft coil back on and hello, car starts. After all this I talk to a few guys and found out many people have had the same problem with coils and dizzy's from them. Seams like the only good stuff from them are the wires and dist boxes.
