Two things you can do to get the most bang for your buck:
1. A 3.73 rear gear swap. 2. Remove unnecessary weight, beginning with the 25lb weight that's bolted to the passenger side inner fender under the plastic liner. For other ideas go to Weight Reduction

Currently run a T5 with 3.55 gears in the back and I would not recommend using anything above this for a daily driver. I am considering going to a more streetable 3.27 ratio even at 3.55 simply so I don't have to shift as much.
Also Bullit95, do you have any photo's of the weight that your referring to? Last edited by Siljin; September 28th, 2010 at 12:17 AM. |

No, but if you pull off the plastic fender liner on the passenger side it'll be right there in front of you so you can't miss it. When you do the rear gear swap you can also remove the 8lb "dogbone" that's bolted under the differential.

I still say 3.73's are the best all around gear!

3.73 Gears would be the way to go. I have 'em in my car and it's amazing! Maybe a Trickflow upper and lower intake would be the next step?
