Weight reduction

Now that I have a great majority of the performance upgrades that I would like done....at least until after winter.....I'm starting to think about weight reduction. I've noticed now after my lowering spring install that my passanger side is about 1/4" lower than the driver side and I would assume that it is due to bad weight distribution. Any ideas as far as evening that out?
Any other suggestions as to other sources of dead-weight, besides the obvious spare tire removal and rear seat delete would be appreciated. Thanks!

Look no further than my Weight Reduction list.
If you have a vert, you can also remove the 25lb weight that's bolted onto the inner fender under the liner.

that is not due to weight distribution...that's due to the classic mustang ghetto lean, ford engineers have admitted to this issue. no biggie

fixing the ghetto lean is simple...only look at the car from the side that you think looks better

In all seriousness, another option is racing seats like Corbeaus. They are much lighter than stock seats.

upgrading suspension parts will also free up some weight. Most all aftermarket parts are stronger and lighter than the OEM..atleast they balance out the additional weight of sub frame connectors..which are a must!

Aluminum driveshaft will help a good bit

Removing the smog pump

Factory crap amps and rear dash speaker box

move your battery to the trunk for better weight distribution..

is there any real reason as to why the car leans that way. I actually looked at my car and i couldn't believe it actually leans on the passenger side. But i can't understand why it would have been designed that way.

Maybe it was so that it would be balanced when the driver sits in it.

You have to set the springs up correctly. Make sure if you retain the isolators you do the same with all the others. You also need to have them clocked exactly the same.

Believe me, we were very cautious, taking note of everything from how the springs sat in their places to how tight bolts were....everything. I didn't want to mess with alignment or anything if I did not need to. Everything turned out great and alignment was damn near right on....except for the slight "ghetto lean." We will find out how everything settled over the winter when I get her out this spring.
