I'm plan on doing a tune up on my car pretty soon...just wondering what plugs and distributor cap, etc you guys would recommend. Any input would be appreciated!

My personal opinion is stay away from MSD crap. Motorocraft is top on my list.

Just buy the stock Motorcraft parts (plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor). They're very good anyway and I can't see anything else being an upgrade.

With both the coil and cap/rotor. I did a tune up and got a new msd cap and rotor and a new coil. Month later my car just dies while I'm gong to work. Took me a while to figure out that the center little metal contact ball on the cap was gone
Bout a year later car starts having issues. Turns out to be the coil. Never again.

I run NGK plugs and MSD cap rotor, coil, and 6T box.

idk why people are having issues with the cap and rotor. Ive been using the same MSD cap/rotor combo for about 3 years now.
As for plugs, if the car still has stock heads, toss a set of Autolite 25's in it. Grab a good quality set of wires, and replace your PCV valve and fuel filter while you are at it.
