My personal opinion is stay away from MSD crap. Motorocraft is top on my list.

Just buy the stock Motorcraft parts (plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor). They're very good anyway and I can't see anything else being an upgrade.

With both the coil and cap/rotor. I did a tune up and got a new msd cap and rotor and a new coil. Month later my car just dies while I'm gong to work. Took me a while to figure out that the center little metal contact ball on the cap was gone Bout a year later car starts having issues. Turns out to be the coil. Never again.

I run NGK plugs and MSD cap rotor, coil, and 6T box.

idk why people are having issues with the cap and rotor. Ive been using the same MSD cap/rotor combo for about 3 years now.

As for plugs, if the car still has stock heads, toss a set of Autolite 25's in it. Grab a good quality set of wires, and replace your PCV valve and fuel filter while you are at it.
