Dont mess with your stock cats.... if you end up changing you stock h-pipe hold onto it because you may still fail smog even if you have just two cats. i just put mine on about 3-4 months ago so i dont know if ill even pass. so you always want it around just incase you have to put it back on. also when you get an after market x or h pipe the cats on that flow better then the stock ones

H pipes are chaeper. My off road H-pipe that had was nice but now i have a BBK X pipe with cats. They say that x pipe give you more HP but if they do it not that much more so it all depends on who you ask

I do still have my off road H-pipe. I dont know if it would fit your car though. from the pictures they look the same but i dont know. i just saw on ebay 2-3 used off road x-pipes for $65 plus $45 shipped. are you sure you want to run the off road pipes with the super 10s or did you change your mind on the super 10s

no def. not gonna use offroad with super 10s...i was wondering if you had an h pipe and also wanted to know if you were willing to sell some of your catalytic converters (if you have some extra)...because those converters are like $300 for some, so was hopin to get a cheap off road h pipe and get some cheap cats

You dont want to get an offroad pipe and then put cats ON it.... either get a high flow H pipe with cats or go with one with no cats and get different mufflers... flowmasters are played out, Hooker sound better, spintech sound way better, there are lots besides slowmasters

If you go on ebay and type in catalytic converters for your car you should be able to find them for 50-80 dollars. but buy the time you buy an off road h-pipe then buy two cats and then have them put on you could have gone out and bought a high flow catted h-pipe plus save alot of time. you may save a little money but not much. If you already had the off road h-pipe and all you had to do was get some cats then id say that it couldnt hurt but dont go and buy all that stuff just to hack it up. Dont worrie about what other people say about flowmaster, some love them others hate them. If there played out it just means that alot of people like them and installed them in there car.Are there better flowing mufflers that give you more power......YES but im willing to bet its not that much and unless your doing some high dollar racing i dont think it matters. no matter what muffler you pick make sure its because you like it. and no i dont have any extra cats the only ones i have are on my stock h-pipe and im holding on to it.

this is the cheapest ive found NEW. 1994-1995 Mustang V8 5.0L GT Catalytic Converter NEW: eBay Motors (item 200517514844 end time Nov-07-10 11:21:23 PST)...... If you check craigs list, ebay, the paper ect.... every day youll find one for $100-$150 but it may take a few months. If you choose to go with the off road h or x pipe and add your own cats here are the links to the cheapest ive found (NEW) JEGS 30601 Off-Road H-Pipes,94-95 Mustang 5.0L: eBay Motors (item 400164619068 end time Nov-15-10 05:46:06 PST) (USED) BBK MUSTANG 94 95 OFFROAD X PIPE 5.0 302 OFF ROAD 2.5: eBay Motors (item 110563031302 end time Nov-18-10 15:22:05 PST) (USED) BBK MUSTANG 5.0 X PIPE OFF ROAD 94 95 GT COBRA 2.5 ": eBay Motors (item 110578633974 end time Nov-24-10 15:44:58 PST) just keep in mind by the time you buy one of the used ones and pay shipping you could have almost gotton the new one. but like i posted before it will be less sh*t to deal with if you just get an already catted pipe

When they talk about cross over pipe that means that the right and left side of the exhaust are conected by the X conection you see and the bottom of the pipes or the H conection, the smaller single pipe that conects right and left side together......IT does not matter if you get it catted or non catted they all have a crossover pipe of some kind on a X or H pipe

Also the rust on those used one are not a big deal. its just surface rust. leave it or sand it off. BUT that first catted Pipe i listed, i forgot to check to see if it was 2 1/2" and i didnt see the size listed. so that one may be only the stock size of 2 1/4" so always ask the seller question be fore you buy. I did remove one of the used one from the link, cause it had been all hacked up, sorry for listing a sh*ty one

I know....i went through the same thing... JUST WAIT. A DEAL WILL COME ALONG... just do one thing at a time... Get your mufflers and tail pipes take it to a shop and have them welded up. Then save some money and get your X or H pipe. The money your looking to spend on the x pipe can be used to get your stuff welded.
