Question '95 Mustang GT Mods list. What do you think?

Hey everybody I own an '95 Mustang GT and was thinking of putting a couple new MODS on soon. But before I do that, I'd like a little imput from everyone out there on what you guys/girls think.

Here is a list of MODS in order of how I wanna put them on: SLP LM1 cat back, bassani X pype, Professional products polished Intake manifold, 65mm throttle body and throttle elbow, also BBK headers, 3:73 gears, 2003 black cobra deep dished rims, 315's in back and 245's in front.

tell me what you think. Thanks!

I'm nervous when it comes to Pro Products intakes. I've heard bad things like leaks and not aligning correctly. Everything else looks good.

What do you think about Edelbrock? My friend has an intake from them, but it only supports 300hp. I'd like a really good edelbrock if I bought one from them.

What do you plan on doin with the car in the future? I would go with a bigger TB. Don't really know anything about that intake so... And as far as the 315's in the rear, if i'm not mistaken you have to remove the quad shock in order to fit those. But worth it IMO.

Dart Iron Eagle block & Pro 1 heads
DSS 347
80lb injectors
D1-SC
blueovalindustries headers
BBK o/r X
Flowmaster cat-back
3.73 gears

I'm planning on a supercharger, but in a year or two, so would a 70mm be a better idea? And also, the rear tires, i head you could just slap em on, but if their bigger than 315 you have to remove it.

Since you're planning on adding a supercharger later on, I suggest you do the exhaust mods (headers, midpipe, catbacks) first. The items you've chosen will do just fine.
I also suggest that you keep the intake stock until you decide to add the supercharger. Then you can bolt on heads/cam/intake manifold/throttle body/MAF/supercharger all at once and save yourself a bundle of cash. This will give you a year to shop around for the parts and you'll find many of them cheaply in ebay. Decide what your goal is (HP and performance) so we can guide you.
As for rear tires, 315's would be too wide with deep dished rims and I think 275's would be a better option.

Well the tires, 315 are recommended to fit these rims. But I have no problem going a little lower.

So start with the exhaust, and when I'm getting closer to getting the supercharger, start upgrading the engine is what your saying?

What if I want some more horse power before I'm looking at a supercharger? I only have 230hp which is a lot, but I'd like a little more kick to it. What could I do to add some more without breaking the bank?

You could save up for the heads/cam/intake manifold/75mm TB and do those before the supercharger. You'll also need a 255lph fuel pump and oversize injectors. I'd suggest 42lb injectors so you have enough room to grow for the supercharger and have the engine dyno tuned.
Since you'll still have the stock engine block, I recommend that you don't go higher than 8psi of boost. With the other engine upgrades you could have 300+rwhp and an 8psi Vortech could push it up to 450rwhp, which is as high as you should go 'cause it'll be getting close to block-splitting territory.

I was planning on a KB super charger, it will have 8-10psi. I would change the TB once the airflow is starting to get stronger, and the engine will actually need it cause I don't want it if i don't need it, because i could damage the engine. The cams I'm looking at are the E303 cam. I've heard it a great cam. Latemodelresto, has a deal on a new intake, TB, and a shoulder piece for 700 that i was thinking of buying. But since the exhaust seems more important for the time being I'll go with that.

What all would I have to replace to get The engine to handle more psi?

Mmmm. That'll be pushing the stock block to the limit if not beyond.

The cams I'm looking at are the E303 cam. I've heard it a great cam.

Not for a supercharged application. If you're going to use a letter cam at all the F303 is the best option. Otherwise I'd suggest either the CompCams XE270HR-14 or the Steeda 19. Even the stock cam would be good.

The block.

315's fit fine on those 10.5" deep dish rims. In fact if I'm correct, thats the recommended size for them. You can go lower or higher in size but the 315's are the sweet spot. The quad shocks should be turned around anyways since you'll be able to do it while your changing the tires. Some cars have the tire touch the quad and others don't so do it anyways. Every tire size is different from different companies. I run the 315 in the rear of my car on the same 10.5" rims.

Yeah, That's what I thought. So I'll just stick with that, what tires do you use?

So since the KB might be pushing it to or over the limits, what supercharger would you recommend?

Throw the gears in ASAP they will give you immediate gradification. Then add the exhaust and after that work on the engine combo. Bolting a throttle boddy to a stock headed car is a waist of time and money. If your dead set on a KB then dont shop for an intake now. As for the rims and tires thats your choice the 315s in the rear will look sweet but I would go biggier than 245 upfront like a 265.

Cool

yes like said above the 315s will not be an issue you will either have to remove the quad shock or just flip it over, i have 315s on the back of mine and i just removed the quad shocks cause mine were bad anyways and werent doing anything.

315's are fine for that wheel size. i have deep dish fr500s with 315's. all i had to do was remove the quad shock. it barely rubbed. but since i dumped the quad shocks, i added better upper and lower control arms for supporting mods.

Sumitomo HTR Z 11 for street but they don't make 315 for this model but they do for the HTR Z which I normally use but found my current 275's htrz11's for a hell of a deal. Their cheap tire's (price wise) and good for wet and dry. You can find them on Ebay new for real cheap or just get them from Tire Rack.

Does the outer wall of the tire protrude outside the fender arch? A pic of your ride would be nice so we can see how the 315's look on it.
