12s with stock bottom end?

is it possible to acheive 1/4 mile time in the 12s with a stock bottom end and no nitrous/sc/tc for a reasonable price?

YES! Alot of people achieve 12's with stock bottom ends. Some people get into the 12's with stock heads, ported of course but they are at they're at their limit. H/C/I is all that's needed. Evan wel thought out gt40 headed combos can get into the 12's no problem. In fact I believe that alot of 5.0 cobras make it into the 12's with stock long blocks.

IMO: in my opinion.
If your car is an auto I would highly suggest a good stall converter 4.10's and a shift kit. Those three items will give you a good seat of the pants difference. Everybody else also made some good suggestions on suspension. Oh yeah don't forget 24lb injectors matching mass air and a good dyno tune because our cars have more sensative computers.
